1- Composting is the time- honoured practice for converting animal & plant wastes into a useful manure. During rotting of that material, the temperature in the heap rises from 50 to 72 degree Centugrade, & it kills most weed seeds & harmful bacteria causing disease to plant & animals Brady's authentic book "The Nature & Properties of Soil" for more information.
2- Secondly a farmer can use it when required.
3- Thirdly after putting the compost / rotten manure it can be mixed into soil, to prevent nitrogen losses from compost. 4- Fourthly it is simple & economical, & does not need expensive structure & running cost.
The above said benefits are not present in water-running fermenter.
i- The water temperature in the water-fermenter is not likely to reach to kill harmful microorganisms.
ii-The slurry will be open to sun / high temoerature to lose its nitrogen into air.
So I suggest to use old conventional method for making compost called "Rurhi" in Punjab.
